Finally got out to test this bullet in my 300 WBY. I had loaded it behind 87 grains of reloader 22. This bullet shot the best of any rounds I have shoot through this rifle - 1/2" 3 shots at 200 yards and 5/5 on water milk jugs at 300, 350, 400, 450 and 475. Velocity was averaging about 3375 FPS...What a great load, this I have settled will be my bullet and load of choice for this year.

Pretty impressive, Adam. Any 270 WSM loads you'd recommend for the rifle I just picked up? I haven't bought the dies yet but probably will soon.

I ended up going with a stainless Remington 700 SPS in 270 WSM. Jim Combe's doing his accurizing package on it right now. I was tempted to go larger, but figure now I'll have an excuse to buy another gun (likely a 300 Ultra) in a couple years.

Vortex Diamondback 4-12X. Might eventually upgrade that and bump it over to my .243, but it should be good for now.
